Ariel LEtcher
Ariel grew up in Florida, surrounded by the ocean and nature. She earned a degree in Advanced Allied Health with a focus on Biomedical Science, but after graduating, she felt uncertain about her career path. To refocus, Ariel prioritized her well-being and found inspiration in the natural world. She began painting, and her art became a way to express the beauty and wonder of her inner-self. This creative outlet extended into making skin and haircare products for herself, as she sought to nourish her body as well as her mind. Through surfing, Ariel and Augie's idea for Mysto was born, sparked by their shared perspective and connection to the ocean. She drew upon her knowledge to develop a product that would make a positive impact, filling a gap in the market.
Augie Ruiz
Born and raised in Sebastian, FL, Augie spent most of his free time in the ocean. After high school, he pursued his passions for music, art, and design. From spending so much time surfing, he realized that his skin and hair was suffering from the harsh elements. This epiphany sparked a new passion for creating products that would protect and nourish. Inspired by Ariel's artistic vision and scientific expertise, Augie partnered with her to imagine and create "Mysto", a product that would harmonize with the ocean's rhythms rather than disrupt them.
